I.H.S. and Tribal Facilities
Locum Medical has a long history of supporting Native American populations through facilities run by or contracted through the Indian Health Service or owned by Tribal governments. We know it takes physicians willing to be in remote locations, work long hours and have a love for patients of a culture that may be different than their own in order to succeed on such assignments.
We can provide locum tenens coverage for short-term or ongoing requirements. Authorized users can contract with us against the Federal Supply Schedule. Facilities may also contract with us directly via standalone government contracts. Tribal facilities can use our standard commercial agreement.

- All-inclusive firm fixed price which typically streamlines the billing process
- A firm labor rate, with travel estimated initially and actual costs reimbursed based on receipts. While more labor intensive, it may result in lower overall costs.
